Orange/White Primary spring, 09 800.

Why is everyone going to this spring? What are the results?

I have an 09 CF8SP set up for mountain riding. Is this spring something I'd like?

I've tried the O/W several times with different engine mods on my 07 M8. Never could get it to work as I found the engagement was too harsh, though it did hold RPM well. I ended up with a lower engagement with a high finish rate (SLP B/R with pipe/port/head & RKT 36* helix).

I know others that swear by it. Try it, AC springs are cheap ...

Here is one we made up for the stock springs. Note the first one is secondary springs. The second is the primary springs.

Cat does make a plain ORANGE spring, rate is 120-290 so you get the better, lower engagement with a slightly higher finish rate.

The slp blue/yellow is another great spring. 140/310.
