The manufactures have some really nice products it's to bad someone set the bar level so high for a one ski when some of the products could be used on a two ski but who would purchase something that costs the same but with half the product .

Reading between the lines , maybe they could broaden their product that could benefit thousands of others .

Here's an option , might not be as pretty but at least you get two for one .

Otter box , it's water tight with dense foam padding . Added a lanyard security pin just to make sure the latch can't open . I have it strapped so if need be the tools can be tossed and shared .

Tools need their own place , if I had to I could completely dismantle the machine including the engine .

A BFH and a torque wrench wouldn't fit

There are some very high quality cameras out there that are a lot more user friendly without the need for down loads and specific made accessories . These can be purchased with the bare essentials , camera and the wireless remote and a charger if you don't already have a half dozen android ones laying around . These and many others use universal mounting hardware interchangeable with any of the gps mounts . A lanyard would be well advised .

Drifts are ok but I've gone through 3 of them. battery adapter for the smaller battery break, one door lock for the larger battery broke.

Bummer , the one to the right is five years old , only problem I've had is the universal battery will swell/ corrode or what ever batteries do . I won't leave the battery in when not using , it's a snug fit to begin with .

Did they warranty them since you had three ?

Could not find the receipts which is weird cause I'm usually really good with that. Ran into Go Pro Rep at the Snow Show and he gave me his demo and said he did not want me Drift(ing) off into space as he put it. LOL.

Sounds like it ended well for you that's good to hear .

Those guys where just in the paper , company seems to have financial difficulties at the moment , one off the top dogs took a bullet and exited taking several million out the door .
