Has anyone over 200 lbs tried the optional rear spring, Did it help with the bottoming issue or just a waste of money ? Trying to decide if I should spend the money on a upgrade or can I get by with just the spring, I ride hard but I am not a big jumper just want to improve the ride on rough trails.

I run the heavy spring, works awesome.I'm at 250 plus with all my gear on. Just a note though. If you have a base model pro the spring wont fit the cheap shocks. I upgraded to the assualt shocks with that spring.

Got the spring from my dealer. Got the rear skid shocks from swapmeet here on snowest.

I thought the rear shocks on the Pro Rmk and the Assualt were the same in length, are you talking about the STD RMK ? In what way would it not fit ?
A friend of mine just had a dealer put the heavy spring on a 2012 PRO nothing was said about having to get another shock. I just ordered one from my dealer today and they said nothing to me.?????????

Yes the shocks are the same length/size,but the body size on the cheapo ryde fx shocks is larger then the walker evans shocks so the spring didnt fit the diameter of shock body. Hope that clears up confusion.

Took a look on line and their is only one number difference on the opt. springs for the
std RMK # (7043741-067) and the PRO RMK #(7043740-067) An easy mistake
to make.
