I just purchased a 2013 with a Silber Turbo kit on it, and I want to make sure it is in good health before heading out west. I scoped the cylinders and it looks like the pistons may have a couple bad spots.

Please take a look and give me your thoughts.

Thanks in advance. Cory

I would do a top end rebuild on it including new wrist pin bearings. If the cylinders are in good shape and not scored put the new pistons/rings in with out honing the cylinders or send them out to a shop that does a micro fine hone like indy specialties. Use oem style pistons I try to stay away from the wisceo style pistons because of the way the pistons expand vs motor temp.
