Opinions on snow king trailers

P
I am looking at buying a new 20ft enclosed snow king with the insulated walls and heater with aluminum rims. I was wondering how many out there have this trailer and what your thoughts are thanks a lot.

I swear I replied to this already earlier today. but anyways, I just bought an 05 19ft Snow King with the furnace installed already, I was a bit leery because Continental Cargo builds these, and they don't have the best reputation. I am very impressed with it, it is the hard wall and they seem to be fairly resistant to stone chips. I was impressed with the fit and finish and it pulls really nice!! I would recommend these trailers!!

I had posted a response as well. Go figure.

I have a 2007 18' 14/4 that tows pretty well behind my F150 supercrew. I can get 3 long track sleds in when loaded from the front. If I get creative I can get two 144's and a 133, plus a 120 and a sno-scoot.

The trailer is holding up well, but I am concerned about the rock rash on the bottom of the frame members from all the cinder that is used on the roads. I am still thinking of cleaning mine up and painting again before winter. Otherwise, I'd buy it again.

yes, i appreciate your responses earlier. i wasn't getting any replies on this so i posted another. The only thing i am concerned about is towing. I have a x cab 09 silverado 1500.

Love mine, tows great...kinda heavy though. 3300 lbs empty for a 3 place seems like a lot. Really like the beavertail in the rear, tons of headroom. Mine is the dropped nose though, which looks good but has no effect on towing (MPG) like they claim...and is a pain to unload because the front door is so short.

I'm not trying to bash brands, but the 1/2 ton Chevy's I have been around haven't had the mustard to tow very well. They seem a little soft in the rear spring department and the GM motors have to rev like crazy to build any power. Maybe yours is different, but you might look around at a buddy's trailers that will weigh in at about 6000# and give it a go. Mine weighs about #5700 with 3 big sleds. If it will tow it up hills with confidence, then you might be in luck.

I think i am gonna be ok now that i thought about it. I remember i towed my uncles 4 place with 3 sleds over are pass ok. A am planning on installing air bags and doing something for a little more power. And yes the gm's are soft my dad still hasn't done any thing about his 07 2500 that we tow a horse trailer with and a 6 place enclosed with.

Thanks for the reply's
