I have been snowmobiling a couple dozen times. Owned a short track when I moved up to Montana. Actually, inherited it from previous home owner. Stayed on plowed trails and a bit of powder no problem. Never got off in the deep stuff.
Can I get some opinions on an idea. I sell ranches in Montana for a living and have taken people back in to see property on horseback with great success.
I'm trying to figure out whether it is a viable option to take people in on snowmobile. So here would be the parameters. I would have to assume they don't know what they are doing. I would be purchasing one or two long track sleds. First condition would be if the roads were somewhat plowed. I feel ok there although it could still be problematic. Second would be if the roads aren't plowed. The more I think about it the more I think this is a recipe for disaster. Liability, getting them stuck and a bad experience, cold, storms.
Anyone want to tell me I would go this far but beyond that you are an idiot? Just need to work my way through the thought and I don't know enough so thought I would throw it out there and test my intelligence level.
TIA
