opinions of Grand Valley Powersports Polaris

Curious what kind of experiences people have had there? Do they set up well for high altitude? Good service? Know what they are doing? Any input appreciated.

Corp, Back when Jeff Rector owned it in the late 90's thru the early 2000's it was, IMO, the best dealer in Western Colorado. Jeff was a hardcore rider at the time and did a lot of testing, his setups out the door were hard to beat.
His head mechanic back then was named Dan and was very good. He now works at All Terrain.
Ed O'brian runs the store now and is a good guy. I'm sure that you would receive quality service and have a good experience with them. As far as getting a real good high altitude setup, you'll probably get just as good, if not better info here on the forum. What sled are you trying to setup?

Weren't you on a new XP when I saw you last spring?

Mark

Thanks

Mark -

I rode an '02 800 snowcheck for the last 2 seasons - bright red one.

I'm setting up my new (to me) '07 600 HO 155. Since I *don't* know what I'm doing as far as clutching and jetting go, I need to have a dealer do it. I think I'll take it down to Grand Valley Powersports and have them set it up. I've added an SLP pipe, SLP can, AirHorn, and flowrites. Are SLP's setup recomendations pretty close in your experience? Want to set up for 10-12K.
Also put on some new Float 2's !:D Thanks for any input.

I have not heard either way, I will as the hubby....Hope to see you on the Mesa this year, maybe we can hook up and ride!!!

from my experiences SLP's setup for jetting is a little on the rich side (safe) and the clutching is a good starting point but not spot on.

I've gone to GV powersports for all my stuff the last few years. Their older shop magager Mike left and is running a shop in Ut somewhere, the new younger Mike is always helpful and experienced.

Ed Obrien is gone. Mike is selling units for Dean Bullock at D&P in Cedar City.
