Opinion of early REV Renegade?

What can you tell me about the 2004-2006 Renegades? We are looking to get my wife on a newer (rider forward) sled, she currently rides a 98 Summit 500. She mostly sticks to trails and easy boondocking, no big hills or anything crazy. She is not an aggressive rider at all. We usually ride in the Snowies, Grand Lake, or Vail Pass (all these places have everything from groomed trails to big steep hills with deep powder). I want her to be comfortable on the easy stuff but also have the ability to work on riding more "technical" stuff. So I was thinking a crossover sled might be a step in the right direction? Would love to hear from people with experience on these machines.

IMHO one of the most under-rated sleds of all time. I LOVE my Gade, does everything well. With the 16 wide track it even does well in pow. It will be a HUGE step forward coming off a '98 Summit (I had a '03 ZX Summit 144); Gades really take the bumps well and handle amazing. Can't recommend it enough!

My wife went from a 2001 550 polaris sport to a 08 renegade with the 600 sdi motor and a track swap to 1.75".
She was stuck all the time on the short track and really started to enjoy snowmobiling with the 600 renegade.

She now has a 2011 600 etec summit and that was another big step up in enjoyment.
Easy throttle pull, longer track, and bigger lugs = less stucks for her.

She will now go anywhere I will go with her summit.

I have an 04 gade for my girl friend and she loves it. I just switched the a arms to summit arm to make it side hill better just in case we get in a pitch. It was my step moms sled she lover it couse it took the bumps really well she just got out of the sport mysister has an 05 600 sdi we put a 144 2" paddle on it and it goes really good
