Open tunnel on timbersleds, is it an issue

Looking for opinions on the open tunnel concept of the timbersled tunnel vs the closed in yeti and other designs. Does it result in a wet butt. Has anyone closed this in light plastic or is there any advantage to this

Thanks in advance

going enclosed

I have enclosed the track frame with plastic on the ts framewrok, just carried a lot of snow around, cut down some on the snow flying, but most of the annoying snow that comes up on the seat is from the track hucking snow chunks in some conditions..................best defense is good gear.

So could the sled like Yeti be better, I haven't heard, meeting Yeti bikes in deep snow they were covered with chit same as we on the TS.

From years of riding sleds and now a couple years on a timbersled bike I'd say it's a non issue.
On the trails or hard pack it doesn't fling snow on the rider. In powder, I'm just as cover d in snow whether on a sled or a snowbike.
