One ski fest

I just wanted to let everyone know that the annual hawkfest will be held in west Yellowstone on feb13-17 and all snowbikes are encouraged to join in. It has really become a one ski reunion for most of us and I always look forward to meeting new people. Based out of Brandon iron inn. See you there

Do you have any more info about it? Are there any organized events/rides or just ad-hoc riding with everyone else? Is there enough space to park a toyhauler?

West is pretty easy to park at don't know why you couldn't park a toyhauler there.
I would call the local Polaris Dealer and talk to the owner and they will help you out.

not sure if there is much of anything for organized events. We normally get together at the motel bar for a huge BS session everynight after riding. If we can get the group together we can have a central hot spot on the mountain to ride from with big fire and food.
If there is anyone willing to work on some more detailed events just grab the torch and go with it. everyone is welcome to share the one ski passion!!

One idea is hebgen lake area, easy for everyone to get in and out of, not too far away, hang out in the bowl and ride from there! Otherwise, the closest to West is Lions Head area or Two Top, Lions Head is probably pretty unstable from what I hear on snow conditions, Two Top will have lots of people and its trail central, you can find good areas to play tho

i have not been to west yellowstone for 20 years .. whats the best route from south dakota ? what roads are closed ?

Easy

Just go west on interstate to Bozeman and go south It's been dumping good in that area
