ON A DEEP POW DAY... HOW MAY OF YOU REMOVE THE VISOR FROM YOUR HELMET??

I was pondering this for a while...

Visors seem like they would act as a "scoop" on the helmet... making sure the eye/goggle area is always full of snow rather than letting it go up and over the helmet.:face-icon-small-con

Why not remove the visor on these days???

I see most of the pro riders like Rob Alford, KJ, Adams, Hoff etc in their videos... the visor is aways on and that area aways looks full of snow on those deep fresh days on my HD Big screen

Thoughts???

=======================
I've been looking at full face designs with electric shields for deep pow days helmets but just cant get past the "Erkyl" look to them... so those are OUT!!

Lol...I have both eric..and still like the motorcrosser with a visor..dont know if its from the motorcross racing days but I try to duck the visor down when i know I am going to take a facewashing to sheild my goggles(as you would do when sheilding from a roost on bikes)..the electric sheilds are great..but also quite hot on warmer pow daays...and they will still fog/moisture up..but unlike a goggle they will clear them selves in a few minutes most of the time...

Sporting a cannonball on those deep days....

I took mine off because i was tired of seeing in my helmet cam vidoes. I can't say i have noticed much of a difference powder-wise but don't miss having it all.

I like mine on for shielding against the sun on the ride back to the truck. Since I wear glasses, I like the protection when stopped to keep snow from getting on my lenses. I'm not sure I would gain as much as I would lose if I took it off. I don't do high speed runs anymore where you could really feel the wind pulling on that visor if you caught it wrong. I also have over the glasses (OTG) goggles so they may take up more space in the helmet opening so I don't worry about that part getting snow in anyway.

I did come up with a solution to keep from getting snow in below the goggles though. :face-icon-small-hap
