no-one answered the house phone so i put in a call to the cell and my dad is out at the blind with my 7yr old goin after a big gobbler... said they saw one when they first got there but they spooked it walkin into the blind and now they are just playin the waiting game... dad says he is wired tight waitin for that Tom to poke his head out again... he got to fire the 20g for the first time a couple days back, he called and says, "wow, that thing HURT", of course i asked if he was gonna be afraid to use it to shoot a turkey, his reply "well, it didnt hurt THAT bad dad"... good boy!! his plan of attack this week is to get one with the shotgun then he's goin back out with the bow (gotta love it that a 7yr old has a PLAN for hunting)... hope he nails 'em both!!!! wish i could be there with him, but grampa has a cam with him just in case... if he gets one i'll put up some pics
