Got an 87 Jag 340. It is always hard to start, the only way you can get it to start everytime is to pull the plugs out pour a few drops of gas in the cylinders and it usually fires right away, unless it is more than 20 below then it is really hard starting to matter what. Warmed it up a bit today ran it in let it cool for maybe 5 minutes did a compression check the fan side cylinder had 120 psi and the other cylinder had 90. I know this is low and it should probably be rebuilt...and should solve my hard starting issue right? or is it not getting gas an issue because once it starts it idles fine and runs smooth all day long just always hard to start....
