Just a heads up for you guys.......
Last week in Island Park one of our crew, lost all of the alen bolts off the PTO side of his ypipe on his 01' Summit waay back in the backcountry. There were several other doos there so we were able to donate enough screws for his sled, so he could ride it out.
We got to checking the rest of our y-pipe, and all the bolts were loose on my 99'X, almost all the screws were loose on another 01' summit 700.
I always check suspension bolts and drive train items, but never have checked the y-pipe bolts. There is a lockwasher on them, but they still come loose.
You might want to give them a quick check, you might just avoid riding brokeback with a buddy back to the trail head............
