older ktm

Anyone run a kit on an older ktm 300 or 380? They don't make fit kits, but I emailed them to see if they would eventually.

Timbersled will make a fit kit for just about any bike if you can either get them the bike or take some measurements for them. I know the newer 300s are sweet.... not sure about the older bikes.

Getting out in the BC on a 15 year old bike worries me.

But yea, i've got a Gore built 380 with stiff enough forks sitting in the garage.

I wouldn't sweat running an older ktm. Other than suspension/frame geo and plastic not much has happened in the motorcycle world. Some of the 10k bikes have 25 year old engine designs and electronics. Older engine with good crank and seals................all good.

Hell mine is a 97 cr500 but I rebuilt it from the ground up because hiking out is no fun...
