Old sleds

Based upon safety and competition, stock snowmobiles manu. prior to 15 years of current model year will not compete in stock classes, but may compete in other classes. This rule came from washington state grass drag rules. Why are old sleds not safe in one class but safe in an other class. I think new sleds don't want beat (stock)

You mean I can't compete?

We didn't make it up, it came out of the ISR rulebook. They can't compete in improved stock either. Don't know why it is. We have not ever had to worry about it cause usually to be competitive you needed newer stuff.

Wrong dog breath. the newer stuff don't want to be imbarassed. A properly tuned 77 SRX would dust most any new sled. I know its hard to accept.

AMEN! i had an 81 srx and i blew past my friends 93 xlt SKS, my other buddy's 97 700 RMK. i raced an 800 xcr and we were even for about the first 3 feet then he left me in the spray. he got radar'd at 115 in the drag we had lined out infront of my house ( bull lake ) and i was at 86
