Old Corral...Centennial WY

Just called up to the Old Corral in Centennial as there is a group of us going sledding this weekend. We have stayed up there at the Old Corral for 4 years, and this is the first I have known that there is a discount if you are a SnoWest member. The normal discounts also apply (AAA, etc.), but this is the first that I have heard about a SnoWest member discount. Any idea how long they have been doing this? Anyone else take advantage of this?:beer;:D

When the new owners took over they did it when they discovered this site and the amount of buisness they get from us.

snowest dis

what kind of rate did they tell you ?I was thinking of heading up that way .Iget sick of that drive back to Larimie. I would like to stay there some time.

I got quoted $80 a night for 2 people to a room. IMHO, I think that staying in Centennial is well worth paying a couple bucks a night more and not having to drive back to Laramie at night.

Snowest rate

The group that I ride with has taken advantage of the Snowest rate. Make sure that you are hungry, Ken serves a killer prime rib!

was there this weekend and got the snowest deal. highly recommend the corral to anyone. ken and linda are very accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. rooms are very nice and extremely clean. it is obvious they take great pride in what they do. and the prime rib is huge and very tasty along with the chili, salad, vegetables, onion rings, toast points, and ice cream that all come with it!

stayed there last year and we found our new spot to stay when were in the snowies

great rooms
great service

really great food

would recommend them to anyone

just dont order it rare....i'd put money on the fact that my prime rib never saw the grill...however it was very....very good....

We have stayed there twice now also. Nice place. My only complaint is no wireless in the rooms. I talked to them about it and she said they are trying to get it up and running.

Snow was good today, not epic over the bumper stuff. Honestly it changes daily up here, one day it's over the hood-- next day the wind blows'--firms it up. Kind of a crap shoot to predict by the 24th. Just hope you get the epic days!!!!!!!!!!!

The other thing we learned a long time ago is if a storm rolls in, they sometimes close the road from town. We were lucky enough to be staying there at the time. A local plowed the road from Centenial to Green Rock. We were up there for almost a week and only saw one other group. Ours was the only rig in the parking lot everday.... if you can believe that. That was a trip I will never forget!
