Old Avalanche Beacon for Cub Scout Use

Wondering if anybody has an old avalanche beacon for use by my cub scout pack? We'll use anything that works, even the old kind that just beeps. Planning snowshoe event on March 9th and could use something quick. This will be a tax-deductible donation, we'll send you a receipt, thank-you card and photo. Thanks everyone. I have a Mammut barry vox that has a cracked lcd screen, but it still works in beep mode. PM me your addy if you want it.

OK, I'll send it off. The beacon sends a good signal that's easily located, but with the broken LCD screen I would only trust it as a testing/demonstration model. Though the digital search function is disabled, it does operate in analog (beep/tone) mode, so you can practice locating with the old school tech.

We got your package this afternoon. It sent a signal just fine, I was able to use my beacon to find it in the office. Mailing your thank-you note, picture and a new Boy Scout Discount Card as a token of our thanks for your generosity. Our nine Cub Scouts are going to have a total hoot with this donation!!!!!
