okee-dokee, noss is on! '08 REV XP W/PICS

I finally got everything mounted. Fuel lines to the intake boots, NO2 to the filter pods, EGT in the straightline performace y-pipe and the bottle mounted above the MBRP can (keep it warm). I left the "carb heater" unhooked, I never use it and routed the carb heater valve hose back to the reservoir bottle in case I ever want to hook it back up.
Pics to come.
cant wait to dial it all in. :clock::face-icon-small-win

Hey skippyh2o let me now how the nos works......

noss

you need to call kerry at boss ,you installed the old system with the old silinoid and they will go bad,theres a new one available,if you want the details call me 253-686-4385 Jeff

Ya can get it reflashed so it takes the rev limiter out. Right now when you hit the button it might just bang against the rev limiter, I would try it first.

I agree with these guys! I've had nitrous on my '08 and I have it on my '09, and you will hit the rev limiter at 8600RPM. So if your running where you're suppose to at 8200ish you will only be able to gain 400RPM and you will be bouncing off the rev limiter. I got my '09 ECM reprogrammed to fix the problem, but they put some wierd curve in it so it won't run past idle. So I have to send the ECM back to get fixed, but you can have them set your rev limiter wherever you would like.

Oh ya, and adding weight to your primary won't fix your problem. It may slow it down a little bit, but then it won't run like it should when you're not on the button. I tried it and it didn't work for me, but let me know what you find out.:beer;

Fortunately for me I dont use my Noss on the flatlands and only use it when I feel a deceleration in RPM's willclimbing. I like my motor the way it is.
New Solenoid... I'll check on that :)

I've never used mine on flat ground either. I only use mine climbing hills and it will hit the rev limiter constantly with the stock ECM. Give it a try, you'll find out.:beer;
