OK...so where'd the 600R E-Tec Go???

There it was, the 600R E-Tec logo, proudly displayed on the hood of the Summit until a couple of days ago when it mysteriously changed to a standard 600 H.O. E-Tec sticker.

I guess BRP wasn't ready to release the new motor. It's too bad because a 130hp 600 E-Tec would have rocked. I guess that's what next year is for.

Not sure what you're talking about. Sticker or no sticker it is still the same 600 E-tec engine for next year isn't it?.

All I am saying is that Ski-Doo has a 600R E-Tec motor and it was going to be released in the Summit models for 09. The 600R sticker is right there on the hood in the picture I posted above, but now that picture is no longer anywhere to be found.

The R motor, I am assuming, is based off of the snocross motor and would have had about 10 more horsepower than the H.O. engine, which is what will be in the new summit instead.

The E-tech 600 will be in 2009 600's

They will have 600 E-tech summits in 2009 I have seen them, and watched them idle, and run and they are going to be cool..
