Now that that's established, how can Doo,Poo,Cat or Yam fix that little thing that isn't quite perfect in your mind?

I ride M-8 Cat so it's perect................. except it could ride better and have a bit more wind protection. Oh yeah, the belt could be easier to change. Wait , it cost too much too. The gadget speedo, altitude ,tach or what ever else it is , is kinda' hard to figure out. The holes in the running boards should be bigger. I wish stuff put into the strorage area would stay dry.

Owen it takes a young person to work those gadgets if you would like I will show you how they all work again.Maybe this yime I will have to show you how to ride it.JK

Sounds like a XP would better suit your needs. :beer;;)

Alright, the changes to my XRS are:

1. A different track (still have the Challenger Lite...)
2. The bottom y-pipe bolts should be easier to get in and out when there is a hole in
my y-pipe and I need to get it fixed.
3. It should definitely use less oil

Other than that I love it!! A reliable upgrade from Doo wouldn't be too bad either... We can't have all Cats out west can we Owen???

The y pipe bolts are a lot easier to do if you take the heat shield off it, not sure if you did that or not!

for skidoo

1. CLUTCHING!!!!!!!!
2. Cheaper parts
3. Running boards that dont bend

for cat

1. Cheaper parts
2. Running boards that dont bend
3.CLUTCHING AND ECU's that work!!

Dont ride anything else and my SRX never has problems :)

07 Doo....I would change;

- The track for something more durable with a little more flex
- The stock clutching....I'm fairly confident the OEM clutch parts were spec'd and machined by wild apes....
- Stiffer rear suspension...why most new sleds are sprung for riders weighing 150lb dressed I will never know.
- Could have easier access to the motor and exhaust system.

One thing that Cat should change is the location of the oil tank on the older M's. They might have changed this but I don't know. When you open a brand new bottle of oil, it is hard to pour it into the oil tank. Ski-doo has a much better setup for this.

I still have my King Cat too, here's the list..

I still like it but it needed alot of changes;

#1 The new style recoil, broke a lot of ropes till I did this.
#2 Challanger Extreme 2.5'', Attack 20 was the real Challange.
#3 Go thru a strip off weight, the first 30# was easy.
#4 Convert the engine to a mod. 975cc with Jaws twins, very reliable motor.
#5 I cut big holes in the running boards all the way back. Too much snow retention.
Most would covert to forward steering and a Boss Highrise, I did not.

Yam Nytro.
1) Get rid of the POS maverick for a CE
2) Bigger fuel tank
3) Lose 40lbs.
4) Other then that LOVE It.

Why can't every gas tank have an opening like the Cat?

Not a big deal... It is way to easy to tell how full the tank is when filling from a jerry can..... Not to mention how can you miss pouring into it?? I"ve even seen guy's pour without the spout..... Even with race gas when every penny counts the Cat tank opening is way to good of an idea.....

Simple and great function....

I don't want to get started on the rest of my gripes... way to easy!!!!
