I like the last one the best.. :D... need to weld some supports on it.. and it should be good to go

On second thought... turn the end upright and put a rain flapper deal on it.. haha :D

is that a yamaha turnout or something you had made. Was it mig welded, or tig? Looks mig, but not sure from picture. Would love something like that on the powderlites pipe, looks like this idea might work.

Thanks,

I made the turnout, then had it welde by a local guy. Not sure if it's mig or tig

i'm betting mig seen a lot of tig and its a lot smoother looking.but like always operator is the key!that is still one sweet turn out!more info on the source?

the tube i used was actually the charge tube from my dads powderlites kit. The first one came damaged in the mail so i decided to make the turnout out of that

i do like the first one!

for those that cant weld or like me who can but could not find the aluminum pipe at the time needed, this is my turn out in stainless steel held in place by one screw.

i just found out you can weld stainless to alumiunum.special rod very pricey!going to try it out!

I changed the intake a little since the pic. It comes straight up now

I want to see that! take some pics!
I just assumed you can’t because of the variables in both materials, because there is no one grade of aluminum and same with stainless. Plus the huge differences in expansion and contraction rates and the total energy dissipation in aluminum verses stainless.

Well i like my screwed pipe....works for me! it was easy and what really maters, the gas can hasn't caught fire yet…lol
