Oil Tank breather hose

I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the breather hose from the oil tank blowing oil across the motor and onto the clutches? I did the mpi supercharger on my Nytro and you put breather hose in front of the gas tank like the instructions said. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem and has anyone come up with a solution?

run it into some sort of catch can,a water bottle will work short term.more than likely you had sled on side & some oil came out,you need a rollover tether or a catch can.

roll over valve http://oftracing.com/OnlineStore15/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=58&products_id=101

about half way down the page you will find the catch can.

go with the alpine catch can. i switched over last year as i had multiple oft rollover valves freeze. i would clean them ect, but it would get cold and they would freeze up again. i just got to the point where i couldnt trust them

Specially built in our machine shop, these Roll Over Tanks aid in the prevention of oil loss should you have a roll over with your Nytro. Easy installation! Priced at $149.99

Anybody happen to know of any reason this bottle wouldn't work on an apex. My boondocker kit likes to puke a little oil once in a while

I had a empty qt oil bottle wedged up front by the tool bag for a catch can. Also you can get a longer piece of breather hose and run it over the head light support down to the belly and back up again to create a "trap". Never use a filter at the end as it can freeze up and get plugged.

Dang, it would have to be SERIOUSLY COLD to freeze the oil in the breather.
I have run one for several years now on my Nytro with no problem.

i dont run a filter on my breather, but even if you do you can cut slits on the hose a little ways up from the end of the hose just in case it does freeze up or the end gets plugged
