have 1800 miles on my 09 dragon 800. Started having DET issues. I have ordered the MTN TK fix it kit. But was wondering if oil can cause DET? I am using AMSOIL HP Injector.

Oil shouldn't cause detonation. I suppose if you are running too MUCH oil it could cause problems. I would run Amsoil Interceptor if I were you. That's what I run.
