The top of my threads were not flat, I trimmed the top with a utility knife last year and it has'nt leaked sense .

Also the vent will dump oil on the electrical plug below it. add 24 inches of tubing and vent out by front right shock.

The insert works on the XP also...but you have to buy a cap for the older REV model to get the proper seal. No more leaks.

If you don't crank it tight it won't leak, I just barley snugg it up and it stops leaking, 3000 km no leaks
