I have an 09 M1000 and the first start of the day it seems to load up and smokes like crazy. It takes a good 20 or 30 seconds to clear out then it’s good for the rest of the day. It doesn’t seem to matter if it’s in a heated garage or sits outside over night. This started happening after about 1000 miles. I am wondering if it has to do with the oil pump sticking? Although looking at the oil pump it doesn’t look like its sticking and it doesn’t seem to be using more oil than normal. Any ideas?
