Oil pump rod install?

So I have a 2012 assault and I wrecked it last year the dealership mechanic apparently wasn't the best, my sled has been burning oil like crazy and come to find out he forgot to hook the rod back up to the throttle side. My question is does it just snap back on or is there a clip to help hold it on?

It just snaps back on.

Snaps back. Good to know it runs rich if unhooked.

It goes to full output if it falls off.

Make sure when you hook it back up it is pivoting towards the mag side , and working against the spring.

Thanks guys. It runs rich indeed. About 1 tank of oil per tank of fuel

when who ever hooked it back up to the throttle bodies they didn't bring the injector arm around to the mag side
you can tell because the spring will be against the spring stop and the rod will pull against you while your trying to snap it onto the ball mount on the trottle bodies
its a bit of pain to do good luck
