Oil pump question

I just went through my motor for maintenance sake. I'm re installing and forgot on the oil connecting rod from the throttle bodies to the oil pump. Does the arm on the pump go on the right side if looking from the seat? This winds the spring about 1/4 turn. I believe this is right and I don't want an issue.

Yep, goes on the right and turn it counter clockwise to load the spring. If there is no spring tension, it's wrong

Or,, the spring tab fell away from the boss on the pump.
