Ok I put on my fbf cable and now the epa is following me. Useing a quart of oil per tank of gas plus. Using over twice what it did before the swap. Directions say have marks parralel if i remember right or are the suposed to touch = or -- does anyone have a picture. is curantly at =.

The manual say the marks need to line up at idle position.

yep, i am right about a quart per tank as well.
I just bought a 05 900 rmk I need to check the oil pump marks Im not sure where the pump is located,
directly below the throttle bodies. You can just see it with a flash light. I think the best way to adjust with the motor in the sled is to remove primary clutch and adjust the cable right by the throttle cable. Alternatively, you could do trial and error by removing the throttle body, adjusting and putting it back to see the results. You have to do the trial and error because when you removed the throttle body, it pulls the cable so you can't get an accurate reading.
