Oil Pump Chain too Loose?

I am in the process of some maintenance on my MPI supercharger, which required the crankcase cover to be removed.

After cleaning up the old gasket I noticed that my oil pump chain seems loose?

Here are a couple pics. Does this seem normal?

Any help is much appreciated.

I thought the same when i rebuilt my engine. Mine was also that loose. No adjustment and only running a oil pump.

It just seems to loose to be spinning at that RPM, but also have a tough time believing that it could stretch that much. I take it you left it as is?
