oil pressure light or guage for a silber?

had a buddy lose an oil pump last year and trash his turbo with his silber kit. where I ride, I can not have my sled go down or its a heli ride out or a rebuild in the back country. does anyone know how to rig up an oil pressure light or a guage? I don't know much about how they function or how to go about it so if you do, please enlighten me. thanks in advance!

I ran a small Auto Meter gauge last year. Came complete with gauge, braided line and a brass t. Tee it in at the pump. It shows you about 5lbs pressure with the oil is hot. Under a hundred bucks for everything. It worked very well

Probably only have a couple seconds to shut it down before the turbo is toast anyway. Not sure it's worth while spending the money on.

I agree . I would start the sled and have a look at the gauge. After that it is pretty hard to ride and keep your eye on a gauge or light. This year new build no gauge.

Liquid filled fuel pressure switch, hydraulic T-Fitting, LED light strip, wired to DC power at main harness, wired to come on when no pressure. The light is mounted on my fuel controller plate off my bar post, easy to see, don't have to look at a gauge. On startup light comes on for about 1/2-1 second till pressure builds and gies off. This way you know your light is working and the oil pump is working. If/when you lose oil pump the 3LED light strip will light up, you can see out if corner of eye. Probably won't get it shut down fast enough if it goes while riding, but you at least know you have pressure or not each start up. About $100. The non-liquid filled switches vibrate and destroy themselves in less than 30 seconds. Go with liquid filled, about $55.
