oil port on 03 800

I bought a used case for my 800 verticle escape. ( blew a piston out bottom of old one) This case I bought has the oil passage drilled thru on the left port. Is this going to be ok? here are some pics. thanks

Yep, I always drill them out.

Yup, that's a good thing. It's all setup if you want to run the wide bearing. If you do just make sure and not cover the opening with the nub on the crank seal.
