Oil leak

Had an oil leak crop up near the end of last season and am finally investigating the cause. Only thing that it looks like it could be is one of the small oil lines that runs from the oil pump to the crank bearings(?). Has anyone else had a problem with these? The lines are a friction seal, no clamp or anything. The sled is a 2007 XRS Summit with a new 2009 800R motor.

On a different note, what is the maximum height track that one could install wihtout a drop and roll - I believe stock is 2.3"?

I had the same problem with my sled (07 800r). I just found what connection was leaking and got a hose clamp and put it on there. haven't had a problem since then.

small zip ties work great and are easy to use and replace
better all around seal than a hose clamp

Exactly what I do, works great and you can get in and tighten them with a long needle nose pliers.
