Oil jets

I just heard from a polaris tech that on some 06 900 case's they put in the wrong oil jet(that stick's in to far)on the mag side. He said the the 06 700 case was the same just the jet on that side stuck out just alittle further. Has anyone heard about this? It make's sense to me about loose my rod bearing on that side.

Ya the 06 700 oil jet sticks in the case further then on the 900. I guess the rods are different. So they tell me that polaris screwed up and put in the wrong one's on some 900 crank case. Just some thing a polaris mechanic told me.

interesting.. well if you ever have it apart you can check the rod.. its comes super close.. i was impressed.....

well its depends, cuz if you look the 06 cases 900 are now superseded which means now yes the 700 and 900 are the same case but at time of manufacturing they were not. they scraped the 900 case and used the 700 by the way it looks of things. and the cranks were different in 06 at time of manufacture, but now its all superseded to the large tapper crank
