Oil indicator stays on

I switched to Legend oil, and it was my 1st use last ride.

We were in the steep almost all day long. Lots of up and down with good grades/angles.

Anyway, I noticed my oil light on quite a bit..

I think it has something to do with the oils flow rating, it is almost like a cooking oil when being poored. So I'm guessing it sloshes in the tank a lot easier.

But, does the light come on, and stay on until the engine is restarted? This is what I seemed to notice. The light does go off after restarting on level ground.
I checked my oil a few times through out the day on level terrain and it was well over the Add line at the time of checking it.

Maybe just a matter of the oil indicator being over sensative (not nec. a bad thing...) and the new oil being so sloshy (yeah, I can't come up with the proper term off hand...).
I like the Legend oil so far; hardly any visible smoke, smells great going in, smells good coming out.

I've seen this 2-3 times this winter (in 1000 miles). I think it is sensitive. I checked my lines and made sure I had enough oil in the oil. My buddies sled has done the same thing.

Mine too

Mine did it too. I use polaris blue. My sled seems only to do it when the idle rpm is low and the mfd flashes consequently. I increased engine idle rpm and it hasnt done it since. Hope this helps

mine is always on. up hills down hills, and will not go of tell i restart the sled. it has done it from day one, and now i have 1200 miles on sled so i would not put to much thought to it.

ya if the light does come on, it will stay on until the sled is restarted. the sensors seem pretty sentitive on these sleds.

Add mine to the list. If I roll my sled to un-stick it, it comes on, then seems to intermittently go off and come back on again.
