Oil delete

I was wondering if I do an oil delete on a ‘19 M8 will the computer throw a code if I unplug the oil pump? Thanks

Yes, your sled will go into limp mode, you need to wire in a resistor.

Thanks for the response, I did test it and it is working properly but maybe I’ll wire in a resistor and run premix.

Also, just because I don’t know, what size of resistor would work. And I assume you just put it in line of the two wires

I haven’t done anything yet. I did test the oil pump and it was still working so I might just keep it for now and add some oil in the tank for the fresh motor
