I have done to my 2001 ZX 800x. You will need to take the oil pump off and make a plate to put in place of it with a fitting for a oil hose to run to a oil reservoir. Ask your local ski-doo dealer for one from a MXZ race sled I think is the one. Run a line from the plate to the bottom of the reservoir and the one from the top of the case to the top of the reservoir. You need to have oil to the water pump to crank gear.
