Oil Consumption???

I have an 07 600 CFI and it doesn't seem to be burning much oil, but I haven't got to put too many miles on it yet this year. But per tank of gas how much oil are you guys using?

I would say I have went through about a quart or a little more and burned a tank of gas. I need to fill both of them up and find out for sure, but let me know.

you should burn 1 qt of oil for every 10 gallons of fuel..so slightly over a qt for a full tank of fuel....

Thats what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. It seems right, but I haven't riden very many miles yet and it just seemed like the oil wasn't going down much.

its right on..40 to 1 ratio = 40 qts gas to 1 qt oil...= 10 gallons fuel to 1 qt oil...
