oil blow off

Ok the crank case vent used to go into the air intake, with the install of a turbo it is now left to vent into the engine compartment. I have a catch bottle from an rx1 and a little k and n filter. this works as long as I dont push it, ie make a long climb or steep climb. The oil blowing into the engine bay makes a mess and is a very bad fire danger not to mention every now and then it will soak down the clutches.
does anyone have a fix that is working?? I know i am not the only one with this problem.

How much boost/pressure are you running? The problem with the boondocker oil bottle is that is doesn't have any baffles like the stock oil tank. Therefore it tends to blow the oil out of the vent at higher pressures, where as the stock oil tank won't allow the oil to escape. I haven't heard of a fix really, just some people run a hose to a bottle in the nose of the sled to catch the oil. I think Boondockers should redesign the tank if possible to help with the problem if possible. We have only noticed this at higher pressures around 17 psi or above.

I ran a hose to the nose of the sled so oil wouldn't blow on my clutches. Also, with my boondocker tank the correct amount of oil reads a little low on the dipstick. I run my level just on the bottom of the hash marks and don't get much blow by anymore.

I have also heard of people venting the valve cover on the RX1, but I don't know if the Apex has the oil cap in the valve cover, or where you would get a fitting that would thread into it. If you could vent the valve cover, perhaps the pressure wouldn't go into the oil tank and blow out the oil.

You could just mod the stock plastic valve cover cap with a weatherhead fitting, What oil do you use?, some oil's foam more than others (automotive oils were made for 5000rpm engines not 10,500rpm engines) and this could cause the problem, I would use Motul
