Man Ohio just owned the Ducks last night. I was talking with my co-workers the question is........"If the best college team went up against a pro team what percentage of wins would they get?" Some say...NONE, no way, others have said they would have a dam good chance. Either way I bet we all would watch with anticipation. Heck this would be the "Mean Machine against the gaurds":face-icon-small-coo

Ohio state would get creamed by any pro team. 4 turn overs vs Oregon? Imagine what any NFL team would do to them. College teams make too many mistakes IMO. The worst NFL team is still comprised of the best of the best that college had to offer, and those players are all much better now with maturity, and since the NFL is a different game. What would happen if the college line couldn't run down field to block? Or the other way around and the NFL players could run down field and block? It wouldn't even be a contest IMO.

The worst pro team would absolutely dominate even the best college teams ever. Think of it this way, how many guys on even the best college teams of all time are good enough to play in the pros? 5-6 per team maybe and they're at skill positions (qb, rb, wr) those guys being the cream of the crop studs, the rest of the guys are interchangable even though they're still scholarship athletes. Even the worst NFL teams employ pretty much only the most badass of athletes from the college ranks.

The only college team I would give any type of chance against even the crappiest of NFL teams are the 2001 Miami Hurricanes. 38 players from that team went on to play in the NFL, and 17 went in the 1st round when they left school.

I voted 30% cuz I was feeling generous, but I think 10% is more accurate.

I think they could hold their own against the Jags. Mainly because their coaching is probably better lmao.

My reasoning is that the only reason college dudes don't always turn out well in the NFL is because they are a product of the system they are in. When the system changes suddenly they are like a fish outta water. Keeping the whole team together to play an NFL team I think would be more interesting.

There is a better chance of you shoving soft butter up a wild cat's a$$ with a red hot poker.

That pretty much sums it up.

It is utterly absurd to even think a college team could beat a pro team.

It would look like last years Super Bowl.:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-ton

They could probably beat the Raiders.
