Oh to be the UPS/Fedex/HDL delivery guy!

So I called in sick from work yesterday to get caught up on my sled projects.. I am always stalled out waiting on the brown truck guy or post office peeps...then the UPS guy pulls up and (nice day shop doors open) he comes rolling in with some packages and strikes up a conversation bout sledding. You have to remember there are NOT many peeps in the flatlands that appreciate mountain sleds or even know what the heck they are so its unique to run into a fellow nut job like myself.:beer; Anyway he starts telling me about all the guys in my area that are getting sled parts and I couldnt believe the info this guy was armed with. He was telling me bout so and so's long track project, somebody elses new boss seat....Im thinking WTF this guy knew all bout my project just by parts he has been bringing. He even commented on a project I did 5 years ago and he used to look forward to his every few day delivery so he would peak in the shop at the progress. It got me thinking how many cool projects these guys must get to see? I just wanted to see if we had any delivery guys on here that experience this or is it just all business everywhere else? kudos to you guys for getting us our stuff!

LOL, I have been a Fedex driver for 22 years here in Ak. Yes, you do get to know the folks in your area by the toys the shop for. In addition to sleds, my boy and race mx as well. Every wed most every race in our area gets a motosport.com shipment in! Parts to fix whatever we broke the weekend before. Order parts sunday night/monday morning, shipped monday 2nd day air, and wed we all have our parts. But beyond that, yes, I have also delivered parts for guys restoring some classic cars around here that I would have never known existed around here. Wow, There are some mean hotrods around here that rarely see daylight.

what can brown do for you?

now that's what i call "brownnosing"

lmao

my brown driver is into the sleds too!

also likes my dog. good guy.

I load trucks at Fedex. I'm sure to treat all the AC boxes extra carefull... jk had a set of polaris rails come through today actually.

Nah, the cat boxes get the samsonite gorrila test:eek: LMAO. I have to admit, I do tend to take care of the racers both bikes and sleds on the days leading up to a race. Most have my cell number. Gotta love living in a small town.
