Are you talking about their power commander set up?
I've never owned a nytro but I've been around a couple of sleds with their set up and they all ran well. The customer service is exceptional.
i believe that the only other company that is offering actual ECU updates is Evolution power sport. they offer several options of actually reflashing the ECU.
Rick C. with OFt Racing is a great person to deal with and a wealth of knowledge about the nytro's.
I believe Jeff with Psychosled industries offers a similar system to OFT Racing and was suppose to work really well from what i have read. He is also a wealth of knowledge regarding Nytro's unfortunately his site is down for maintenance and i am not sure how to get a hold of him.

I'm running the pyschosled power commander on my push kit. It will not run the extra injector that push has for their upgrade. I'm running mpi's intercooler and fuel pump upgrade along with pychosled's power commander and autotune, my sled runs awesome with whatever boost I choose. My afr is always spot on, no more pushing buttons for elevation or boost changes. It really is a night and day difference!
I sold the push upgrade to you last year, your in the same boat I was and want the next step up. This is it, fairly expensive to do all of it but it does run a lot better and with quite a bit more power.
As ICR said what we sell is a Powercommander PCV PTi set up and it works so great we offer a money back guarantee on all "low boost" set ups. I am always willing to work with anyone existing set up as well to make a turn key turbo set up for everyone's needs. That being said I am picky about the systems because I want to keep my reputation for providing "no tuning required" fuel systems. But just because I have kits doesn't mean I can't sell you as much or as little as you need to make a turbo sled that runs as good as a stocker.

I am trying understand how does the oft ecu allow you to take the extra injector out of the charge tube and run more boost? Sorry if this is a newbie question...

If you give Rick a call he will explain, but if you are going to be running higher boost then he is most likely going to have you install larger injectors that will handle the extra fuel u will need.
You'll need at least an intercooler to run more boost than you already are. From there the fuel pump upgrade followed by larger injectors. You'll also need to lower compression or reduce timing if you want to still run pump gas.
I run 100 octane Sunoco straight from the pump down the street from my house. Stock compression, 4,000ft-7,000ft,10-14lbs of boost.
