I read where a lot of M7 guys use offet ignition keys to advance their timing a few degrees.
The Fett Brother's add I'm reading says:
Offset key allows an advanced timing curve for up to a 2 hp gain.
1 to 3.5 degree advance depending upon stroke, rod location and offset
Better throttle response, mid range and top end.
I see they sell 1.4, 2.5, and 3.5 degree timing keys.
$20.99
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do these things work?
Which one is best to get for a M8?
How hard are they to install?
Are they a recommended modification for a ported motor?
Doesn't the addition of a timing key drive the need for higher octane fuel?
