offset axles

Anyone got any opinions on offset axles to run 3 8" wheels on a m10. Looking at Hi performance and mountain machines freedom axle kits.

I am looking to take up a little extra slop with the larger wheels and the hi performance one looks like it won't really do that by moving up and forward instead of just up. The freedom kit looks interesting with the ability to have 2, 3 or 4 wheels, but looks like it could be a little weaker with all the connection points.

Would love to hear from some who have used either of these. Open to others you may have liked also.

Thanks,

I have the freedom axle kit with two wheels and it has held up fine. I don't do a lot of big drops or huge air but it does take a beating with no problems with two years on it. hope this helps.

I have a mountain machines axle but it is NOT the freedom axle. I have one on each of my 2 cat 900's. I am running 159 rails, 162 tracks and 9 inch wheels. The axle I have is actually offset a little bit. The bolt holes are not drilled in the center of the axle, They are offset to the top. Depending how much offset you are looking for mountain machines normal 2 wheel axle might work for you. I have been running then for 3 years with no issues at all.

Just don't run it backwards. Wheel center line past the end of the rail = not good...

Ok, what about the Tricked Out Toys one that I came across. Looks simple enough, Anyone tried it?

Thanks,
