offset axle help

So I put a 156" X3 on my pro with cmx D&R, 8 tooth drivers, timbersled. I do not have enough adjustment with the rear axle to tighten the track, with axle all the way to the back of the rails I still have 3.5" hanging between the track and hyfax. Yes I know I can move my suspension down and back 1" to match the D&R but this is not the route I'm looking for.
Every offset axle I can find moves forward and up (for bigger wheels) which I could turn backwards. I'm looking for one that just moves back to take up the slack. The ice age rails are designed for a 8" wheel so if I do a regular offset axle I would have to run 9" wheels.
Does anyone see any issue running a 9" wheel?
Is there an offset axle that just moves back and not up so I can just run 8" wheels?

Our OFT-set axle would do the trick on stock rails but unfortunately since you already have 8" rails I can't do much there short of making wheels to match the offset amount. I can do a straight axle that allows another 5/16" of travel than a conventional axle for no additional cost that our conventional Big Nutz axle if that would be enough? Shoot me a email and we'll see if I have any good options for you. Rick@OFTRacing.com

......

Just put 9 inch wheels on it.
Avid black plastic aren't too spendy.
It will help keep the front and down.
I had no issues with my set up.

I talked to Tom with TKI today. He's going to build me an axle that offsets 1" to the back so I can run 8" wheels. Thx guys
