What is everyone planning for off-season mods? I guess the off-season is about half over now.

Other than the typical stuff:
-clean exhaust valves
-polish the tunnel
-grease

Also had a head done to my sled, Polaris update and a pipe mod.

I would like to get my shocks re-valved.

Also need to replace the front plastic on the belly pan.

Last, I would like to find a 155" Polaris 5.1 track to put on (anyone?)

What do you guys have in the works or planned?

Part 1 & 2

My first half of summer was for reliability and handling. BDX Anti-stab kit, BDX rear bumper kit, 3" bar riser, & goldfinger.

Second half of summer is power. Full SLP exhaust kit, '09 reflash, PC 5, & clutching.

I'm installing new dual rate spring W/E Clicker shocks up front, remote reservoir W/E Clicker rear track shock, dual rate spring W/E front track shock, new torsion springs, overhauling the clutches, new fuel filter and lubing everything up. I'm also considering a PC V to richen up my mid-range throttle.

Cheaper to do a little upgrading and maintenance then replacing the sled this season.

Yamaha Front Bumper
Skinz Rear Bumper
Skinz Under the Tunnel Exhaust
Skins Air-Frame Boards
Skinz Seat
Simons Gen III Skies
Vent
Camoplast Track

Now I just got to get it up to Vernon Motorsports and let Nick work his magic!

Im looking to do some clutching n get it balanced.

But what does a full exhaust kit do other than drop weight?

.... starting over. well not really.

Rebuilding the motor mounts on the yamadoo (1/2 done)
converting it to a midmount turbo system( slowly working on it)
converting it to run on propane(just need to get some tanks and finsh tubo system)
puting on avid drivers(wahl bros didnt like boost)
getting a better track.

cleaned handfuls of branches out of my bulkhead.

In all honesty, just clean and thoroughly check it over, grease everything, not much I can do other than big-bore it and that just ain't happening till the warranty is over.

Working on losing 20-30 pounds off of me and it should run juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust fine.

OH well lets see,
New Hi-Fax
SLP Pipe
SLT skis/carbides
Better Boards
Power Reeds
Chain Case flush
Mo-Flow vents
2" Riser
Hand Gaurds
Team Secondary
Walker Evans Rear Shock
Thats all I can think of for now but im sure there is more lol there always is:face-icon-small-hap

Wow, some of you have some serious projects in the works.

This does remind me I probably need to get new clutch springs and order up a new belt for next season.

I replaced my fleet, Sold my sled deck, 05 Rev 600 and Edge mod. Replaced it all with a 05 Triton 2 place, 2010 RMK 600 for the GF and waiting for my RMK Pro. Lots of working this year to have no payments over the winter. :face-icon-small-hap

On my list is all under hood:

SHR 860 complete motor
More venting
Reinforce Bulkhead
Clutching
Oil Injection delete
Relocate ECM
Pray for lots of deep powder......

-Going back to a stock tunnel/bulkhead w/ better bars and better boards whole thing powder coated black

Play nice with the other children Christopher, no name calling or were going to have to put you in time out lol :face-icon-small-sho, by the way I was wondering why a turbo or super isn't on your list of summer mods?

he he he!

To be honest because I am not a good enough rider yet to justify the extra power.

Right now my Nytro is still capable of out riding me.
but.
That IS the reason that I choose the Nytro to begin with.
So give me another season and you may see the Super Charger on next summer's list.

Well, I had more planned but I just picked up a '90 Dodge W250 5.9 Cummins.. :) So most of my money is going into getting that... up to my standards. ie) lift, 35's, flat bed (for sleds), motor work.

As for the sled.
- put on my Arctic FX wrap
- fix and brace up bulkhead
- mtn addiction gas rack

Preview of my wrap.

Sounds like a sick build! Black will be sweet! Why only the 15 wide? Probly wrong but thought the 174 was only in a 16 wide
