Looking for some good off road lights to put on my pickup something Good and not horribly expensive probably a semi flood What are you guys using? Any body tried any of the lightforce lights? What are some other good ones?

I've always had good luck with Hella's

I still find I like the good old KC daylighters the best..they just flat out work and they are pretty easy to mount behind the grill......

I realize this may be too little too late, but i'm running some Jetco Roo lights on my Dodge. They're essentially IDENTICAL to a Lightforce, except FAR cheaper, and they come with a free bulb, where the Lightforces do not. I am not sure if they are available in the Staes, or not. I've had great luck with them for the last year (85000 kms) of rough bush roads.

What, the ROO Lights? I forget what I paid. I I remember right, they were half the price of Lightforces. I got mine through Bumper to Bumper.

Is stone proof as tough as bullet proof? The Jetcos look good, but I'd like to know about longevity. I have 8" Lightforces on the Chebby, and they still look new after 2 years. The Lightforces are supposed to be able to withstand a 22 shot. I know they're tough as I tore a cover off in the car wash one day (snagged with the hose) and never noticed....drove over it. I just pulled the tabs back into place and stuck it back on....that was last summer.
