Odd runing prob boondocker.

This is very strange. 2011 pro 800 boondocker intercooled turbo running 12 lbs @ 2000 ft on AV. Runs perfect all the time never misses a beat once you have it started from cold. When I say cold I mean -15 c or colder with coolant temp below 0 C. If it is in a shop it starts second pull and sits there idling. When its cold it will start and then begin to flood. If I keep it running with throttle it will not idle until the coolant temp is over 80 F. Then just like someone hits a switch it idles perfectly. I have checked TPS, coolant temp sensor obviously works properly and the intake air temp works also according to the BD box. Plugs are new. This is very strange. It does have the 3 deg timning key and I have not tried it with that unplugged yet Never did it for the first two years I owned it and just started one day and hasn't got any worse or better. Thoughts?

Thanks. Reeds are good. Pistons are lioke new. 2000 miles. Yesterday started it in the garage and it idled perfectly, drove it out put it on the truck " by then it was up to 100 F coolant temp and running fine" Drove 70 km in the truck @-23 C. Started on third pull but wouldnot idle . Coolant temp of 15 F, kept it running until coolant temp was 65 F and then it just started idling like I just pulled it out of the garage. Rode all day put it back on the truck drove back home and it did the same thing when I got home. Yet if its warmer than -15 it will just fire right up and idle. I was going to try unplugging the timing chip but the little clips get real stiff at -23 c.

I know you said you checked your tps but did you checked the tps when the engine is at operating temp?

I've got a ported pro with a doebek box on it and mine did the same thing in west Yellowstone last year when it was 26F below. I don't know why though.
