octane question

I have a 2010 summit xp. BRP recommends 91 octane. In the town I live in, I can get 91, 92 or 94 octane. My question is, Is there any benefits to paying more for the 94 octane like better performance? All three are ethanol free.
thanks

No.

No benefit at all.

Actually, you would get less power from the higher octane, but you would never tell it w/o a dyno.

Higher octane = slower burn (more resistance to knocking)

You want to use the lowest octane possible that will run without detonation. That will get you the best HP. Also, octane requirement will go down with increase in altitude.

Sorry or hijack, but here's another octane related question:
What would be better for my turbo sled: 91octane ethanol free OR 93octane 10% ethanol?

How much bost u running. lower boost you could run 93 w/ethanol. about 6-8 at sea level.
