first of all, you should look up exactly why marijuana is illegal.
then you should look up the exact effects of marijuana.
not laced marijuana of course, but legitimate, medical marijuana. its definitely healthier than oxycontin.
oxycontin has a HUGE price, so it makes the people in the drug game ALOT of money.
marijuana is a weed, and grows abundantly, so its cheap. medical benifits for the seriously ill cost less with marijuana, and if sold through legal dispenceries, it doesnt make the big bucks, and it doesnt put money in the pockets of the more powerful people. its all about money. it has nothing to with what it does to you.
plus, if he's against it because of his faith, thats a no no anyways, because he should make decisions according to the best interest of the people. within reason of course. but you dont just walk away and disrespect a dying man like that. thats pretty messed up.
PLUS. he said hes totally against the legalization of marijuana for just anybody. hes only for medical purposes. legitimate medical purposes such as the purpose of making his dying self's death less painful.
